Indoor regatta

Our first Indoor Regatta for two years (and after a few lockdowns!) saw 30 teams enter. We had 4 teams of 4 rowers erging for 2000m, 500m each with the top teams in the heats going through to a final round. We had a great Novice turnout, with 3 teams entering on the men’s side and one team entering on the women’s side. Our senior men’s crew reached the finals with the help of a Norwegian Olympic kayaker (who we have tried unsuccessfully to convince to stay next term). Our women’s Novice crew ended up winning the event (a sign of things to come!), and on the Senior side the women came runners up. We can confirm that Magdalen arrived in full force with eight crews and left with nothing. GDBM.
